POC is the newest addition to the active councils of SAC. The domain that falls under the council is limited and specific.
As the name implies the council oversees any publication and outreach activity that the students engage in. The council
recruits once per semester, all students are welcome to apply irrespective of their batch. The council is overseen by the
Secretary - POC.
The council is responsible for handling the yearly student-led science outreach programme of IISER Berhampur, Science To
Motivate and Reach Everyone( STREAM). STREAM sees school students from all over Berhampur visiting the campus for an
entire day. Various science clubs will be setting up interactive stalls, each offering a glimpse into different fields of
science. "STREAM" promises to be an immersive experience for the visiting students and an opportunity for them to see
what great fun science can be.
